A look into practice: Successful continuation of an online store thanks to professional preparation and support
When the seller contacted omegaconsulting, Uwe Kehlenbeck, omegaconsulting’s managing director for many years, felt like he had been transported back to his youth. He was therefore only too happy to tackle the topic of “DJ technology” in connection with the future development of a successful online store.
The foundation stone of the company was laid back in 1998 by the retail company “77sunsetstrip Recordstore” in Straubing. The first online store was launched in 2000, which led to an expansion of the product range. Today, the focus is on technical DJ equipment. The product range comprises well over 3,000 items. Private reasons prompted the owner to consider selling the company. He commissioned the succession experts from omegaconsulting in Landshut to prepare and support the project. Looking back, Uwe Kehlenbeck summarizes: “The professional and discreet identification and approach of interested parties in this very special environment represented the particular challenge of this project.”
