Company succession meets university

This semester, Gerlinde Baumer and Jean-Claude Baumer once again took the opportunity for an open exchange with students at Landshut University of Applied Sciences.

Invited by Thomas Zinser, the two spoke about a topic that is often underestimated in the SME sector – and where consulting goes far beyond Excel, valuation and contract logic:

How do you accompany entrepreneurs through the most emotional phase of their professional life?

They showed very clearly what succession really means today, parallel to the economic part:
An interplay of responsibility, identity, letting go, change of leadership, implicit knowledge and new perspectives.
