Valuation in practice
The question of the company value arises on numerous occasions: the impending sale of the company, the departure of a shareholder or the handover to a family member. However, a company valuation, especially for small owner-managed companies, is anything but trivial, as many influencing factors have to be taken into account.
Determining the value using standard valuation methods is generally not sufficient. The challenge lies in taking into account the individual and often difficult to quantify values of the company.
