The founder and owner of a dental laboratory had been thinking about the succession of the company for some time. The handover to his son, who had been working in the company for several years, was an obvious choice due to his professional qualifications and experience within the company. Given the three systems involved – company, entrepreneur and family – bringing together all the individual values, motives and objectives was crucial for a successful and sustainable handover. As part of its search for a potential company successor in the heating and plumbing segment, a management buy-in interested party commissioned omegaconsulting with the targeted identification and confidential approach of suitable companies and the implementation of the entire purchase process up to the handover. Of particular importance for this mandate was the support of the MBI beyond the conclusion of the transaction.
