omegaconsulting supports integrative daycare center

According to the motto “It’s normal to be different”, children with and without special needs are cared for together at the Sonneninsel inclusive daycare center. The central aims of the Lebenshilfe Landshut e.V. facility are the unrestricted participation and individual professional support of every child. The prerequisite for this, in addition to the existing structural accessibility, is equipment with materials that support these tasks in a meaningful way. Sonneninsel is therefore delighted with the donation of a so-called “movement construction site”. This consists of soft components in clear shapes, which the children can use together to create a variety of objects such as towers, houses and bridges, while at the same time discovering and improving their motor skills.

During the donation handover, the omegaconsulting team was able to gain a very good insight into Lebenshilfe Landshut in general and Sonneninsel in particular: “We are impressed by everything that goes on behind the scenes,” says Jean-Claude Baumer. During the exchange, he also discovered parallels with omegaconsulting: “Building bridges and developing individual solutions are also part of our core business, just in a different context. After getting to know this institution in our neighborhood, we are all the more pleased to be able to contribute to Sonneninsel’s daily commitment to inclusion.”
